These might be a bit off-topic, but they're a bit nostalgic!

Yes, they are quite good and something of a novelty which never fails to catch the attention of any visitors who may see it/them on your pc screen. One of my computers is currently using an ATV screensaver and another is using a BBC one.

I've used the BBC2 clock as a screensaver for ages. It caught the eye of a lecturer one time I had my Laptop down in the Engineering Department for a third-year project. He wanted to know where he could get a copy!

They are really good and I use the BBC2 clock as my background but what a shame they don't tell the time. Moving hands would really put the icing on the cake..

I'm no programmer but I wonder if it could be done as I have seen some animated backgrounds before.

Kat, anyone, fancy a go at it?

On a similar vein, it goes well with Test Card F I use as a background on my mobile phone. "That's really sad, Dad!" said my daughters in unison when they saw it. Even sadder is my ring-tone, The Shadows playing "Ghost Riders".

The ones at http://625.uk.com/tv_logos/flash4.htm mentioned by Darren-UK do display the time. I now use the BBC2 one as my "screensaver".
