Hi Alan, I have a 110c Instruction Manual, no schematic.

If interested, send me a PM.

Peter.

I have just been given a 110C, it looks like its been played with as it has a 6U5G eye valve fitted, which hasn't been wired for also some of the resistors have been changed.

Would anyone have a manual for the 110C or 110A please?

Thanks,
Steve.

The instructions for the Taylor 110C are on Jim Beacon's site.

http://www.g1jbg.co.uk/pdf/Tay110C.pdf

If you use the forum search facility, to search for Taylor 110C, you will find a reference to a thread containing the circuit diagram prepared by Mike Phelan, or see below.

Many thanks for that but I have found several differences between the schematic and my 110C. I was wondering if it was a schematic for an A or B model?

For example, the 25uF electrolytic is connected to the 6J5 valve when the diagram shows it on the EM34. Also the 10k 1% resistor is 20K on mine.

I am not in any way disagreeing with the kind person who made the diagram, just need some help.

Stephen.

My Taylor 110C has the 25uF cathode decoupling capacitor on the 6J5 cathode as does yours. It was discussed in a thread about Kat Manton's 110C here:-

https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...67&postcount=2

The other differences I noted between Mike's 110C diagram and my 110C are listed below.

My EM34 had a 680 ohm cathode resistor, not 560 ohm.
The HT smoothing resistor between the two 4uF smoothing capacitors is 30k, not 10k.

It's probably worth mentioning that all three points marked with a lower case 'x' on Mike's diagram are connected together.

HT was 260V on the 6X5 cathode, 200V on the smoothed side.

Sounds like ours are the same, next time yours is apart can you have a look at the resistor from the top of the wafer switch that goes to the very long 2k3 resistor? mine has been replaced with 20k and it's made up from several resistors.

At the same time the adjustment trimmers have been moved and are currently paired to the second lug on the wafer directly behind the 2k3.

I think I'm nearly there as it's getting better at reading, just the last few unknowns.

Regards,
Stephen

The resistor from the long 2k3 resistor to the first wafer (the Ext position) is 21k in my 110C, not 10k as shown in Mike's diagram. I think it's only used for comparison measurements.
