Spent a quite a lot time on these but the result was worth the effort.
They were both completely stripped and cleaned, the dark gey one wasn't too bad but the light one was filthy and still has a slight yellow tinge to grey rexine. Neither needed any electrical repairs and both work well. They both have near perfect bright work protected by the grime. Also the both have Caroline on their scales which is nice. |

The radios are looking good Dave. I've been tempted to get some of these and similar sets before but I still dont have any.
Cheers, Neil. |

I have a couple of the bush versions, both needed the dreaded AF117's replacing, but well worth it as these sets sound nice when working.
Like yours, mine had been well preserved by years of dirt! ![]() Mark |

These are lovely radios and surprisingly heavy for their size. I was lucky enough to find one quite cheaply that came up almost mint once cleaned. It doesn't have Caroline on the dial though.

I don't think I've ever seen a light grey one before?
I used to have one of the bluey grey ones and sold it in a mad clearout for very little money, wish I still had it ![]() Josh. |

Ah this looks like the direct equivalant to the Bush TR130. I bet it uses the same RBM chassis. Great radios very sensitive and with a generouse output. Even though its an AM only set it will put many a newer radio to shame.
