GPO meter 60/MK 1
Does anyone have the circuit/manual for this meter, which is very much like a Taylor.
There is no reading on the high voltage ranges, the positive probe looks badly flashed. But all the other ranges work well. on looking inside there appears nothing badly burned or ruined. cheers Mark |

Re: GPO meter 60/MK 1
If no one comes up with the GPO manual I can dig out my copy of the Taylor 127A and scan that. (see https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...highlight=127a)

Re: GPO meter 60/MK 1
Scan of manual as promised, a bit grubby but fixing British motorcycles in my teens seemed to leave a film of oil on most things .
I've done it in greyscale as the original is rather small (12 x 8 cm). Main circuit diagram scanned at higher resolution. They are a nice meter but two things to watch out for... The 'S' terminal connects direct to the meter movement, best to fit a blanking plug or one day you may plug into here instead of the '+' next door and end up with a bent needle or worse (like what I did ). The voltage drop at FSD on the current ranges is rather high at 1.5v Jim |
