Hello,
I'm in search of a service manual or at least some parts of the schematic for the Sinclair Microvision MTV1 (Multistandard Pocket TV). A fellow collector was able to acquire one of these and it also seems to work except for the CRT Heater. As soon as he applies an external power source for the filament the unit will work just fine. Searching the forums I found the following link: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22848 Seems as if Steve scanned some documents and Jon wanted to convert them to PDF and put them onto his web pages. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find them there. Anyone able to help me with this? I thank you in advance! Regards, barclay66 |

Hi Jon,
Thank you for the information. Unfortunately it's about the FTV and not the MTV1 that I was looking for... Barclay66 |

Hello there. I did supply the data to someone on the forum but it never got put on. If you send me a stamped addrssed A4 envelope I'll send you a photo copy of the MTV1 sheet. Send me a personal mail to arrange.

![]() I seem to have got as far getting the images ready to make a PDF but then stopped; I can only think this occured when my machine was infected with a terrible program called Word 2007 (Microsoft, shame on you!). Anyhow you can get the images here :- http://www.thevalvepage.com/temp/temp.htm Where you see p10_a.gif and p10_b.gif it means the first one is top of the page, second is bottom (usually split because one is a diagram that needs more resolution than the rest of the page). Hello everybody,
I stumbled onto this thread while doing a Google search for Sinclair micro vision schematic diagram (as I needed one too). I sure got lucky! As a token of appreciation I have compiled Steve's scans (provided by Jon) into a PDF file. You are all welcome to use it as you see fit. That file is located at http://www.cybersandy.net/peteski/Microvision_svc_manual.pdf I can't guarantee that I'll be able to host this file for a long period of time. If someone else wants to host this file that will be fine by me. I emailed this info to Jon over a week ago but since I had no reply I figured my email never got to him. Peteski |
