A lifetimes collection of various p&s.
Box of Bulgin etc round Bakelite types. Box of Taylor etc rectangular Bakelite types. Four Plessey mains sockets, have another two similar but the opposite hand if wanted. I don't want them, what is the best way of divvying them up? Because no one actually wants 100 plugs and sockets. Weight will be over 5kg when packed, so not so trivial postage cost. |

I'll have the Plessey ones if they're the three pin mains plugs.

Found another box, this is triaxial BNC, some Lemo, strange BNC plus all sorts of miscellaneous multipin, RF etc.
Weight 5kg. Yes, the Plessey are the mains connectors, tested on my CT160 to get the correct hand. Don't want anything for them, just want them all gone, all in one lot so the happy recipient can sort them out. |

Brian Summers (beamcurrent) may be interested for his ongoing museum restoration: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=166646

You probably know this, but just in case, demand exceeds supply for the larger Bulgin connectors (particularly the 'trailing' ones) and they are worth money. You might want to check online selling prices.
Cheers, GJ

I’d be happy to take these as one lot and distribute unwanted ones to others for donation to Dulwich museum in lieu of postage

If these are still available (not the earlier ones plus I notice others would) I would like them. I could easily pick them up being fairly local.

Happy to pay postage if you PM me details Cheers, Ed |

What I really want is for someone to just turn up and take them. If I am packing them then I have to find a box, something I no longer have, and at over 10kg will need to be pretty substantial.

Hello woodchips.
Just got back home and catching up. Our project www.mcr21.org.uk Does have a need for some connectors. In the first picture there are many painton connectors, (miniature Jones type) we are looking for 3 or 4 round 2 pin fixed plugs to be fitted to the waveform monitors. Also of interest are the "Pye" plugs, (free sockets) these I think from the photo are 8 way ones with the sloping aluminium shells. It is the painton 2 pin ones that are particularly needed and the project uses dozens of the Pye connectors in various pin sizes, but those look to be in good condition. If you are able to post just those only a modest box would be needed and although we need to find them there is no great rush. Regards Brian |

Hello Woodchips,
As our Project Vivat is now nearing completion, we do find ourselves in need of a small quantity (two or three) 8 pin Painton chassis mounting flanged sockets. www.projectvivat.co.uk Any to hand? They're the ones with four pins horizontal and four pins vertical. Many thanks. Best regards, Paul Marshall Chairman www.becg.tv |

I collected these from Bob today and will be getting in touch with those who expressed an interest in this thread. I'll be suggesting charitable donations, which I will pass on to the Salvation Army on Bob's behalf.
Cheers, Frank |

I did express an interest in the Plessy's in the original thread but never got a response to my PM.
