Default Coronation Twin O/P Trans

Does anyone have an output transformer for an Ultra Coronation Twin which they would be prepared to part with?
All expenses covered of course. Any help would be most gratefully received.
Best Wishes,
Geoff.

Hi Geoff, if you fail to find one and the dead one is available it can be rewound.

Hi Ed, If I can't find a suitable preplacement I will probably end up going down that route, a quick fix would be preferable - and probably considerably cheaper! I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope somebody has one in their spares box.

Assuming my info is correct that this set has a DL94 (or equivalent) output valve with a 10k anode load impedance the following should work to match to a 3 Ohm speaker:
https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/audio...rmers/2106475/ . OK, the transformer is rated at 3.5W which is a bit high for a DL94 but I would have thought it is a reasonably priced solution compared to an expensive rewind and should work.
Cheers, Jerry

Thanks for that Jerry, thinking about it I might already have one of these in stock; stupidly it hadn't occurred to me that I could use the space where the batteries would have been to mount a suitable transformer. The one fitted is a 'through the chassis' type and physically quite small. As usual, it needs someone to point out the obvious!
Many thanks,
Geoff.

Hi Geoff,

If you do go down the route of using the RS output transformer, would you be willing to sell me the original broken one, to see if I can rewind it, or at least see how it was constructed.

Thanks,
John.

Hi John,
Of course, that would be no problem (and certainly no charge!). I will let you know when I get around to the job, Christmas is suddenly catching up with me and I am beginning the usual seasonal panic.
Very Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
Geoff.
