Default Surplus electronics

I came across this site as one does whilst following a tangent. There are some bargains, they have a few scopes ,test equipment and valves. I have no connection etc.

http://www.surplus-electronics.co.uk

They are based in Holt, Norfolk. I hope you find it useful.

Andy.

There's far too many POAs and not enough prices for it to be worth casual browsing

I don't like POA's either - I tend just to scoot past the items in question.
However I can vouch for the service. I bought an HP spectrum analyser from them a few years ago and it turned out to have a fault. This fault was easily missed as it only occurred on a certain combination of settings. As the unit was large and heavy, the boss sent me the workshop manual and a load of tech bulletins and personal notes etc to see if the unit would respond to some TLC. It didn't, so he sent me a replacement unit (one tested by himself) by overnight courier.
He also 'phoned me a couple of days later to see if all was OK, which it was.
He also threw in a 30dB sampling head, some genuine HP leads and the manuals that he let me keep.

On a similar note, Stewart of Reading are good too. A 'phone call will almost always get a reduction from the online price and if you ask nicely he'll choose you a nice clean one rather than a dinger 'off the pile'.
