Default John Milne Auctioneers, Aberdeen

Just a heads up to anyone in the northeast!

Just got a pretty good haul from here myself on my first visit. They run a sale at 10:00AM every Wednesday, with viewing from 10:00 through to 19:00 on Tuesdays.

Not always radios there, but always worth a look, especially given that their catalogs are available online, so you can check in advance if there's anything radio related going under the hammer.

Given that mains radios don't seem to have quite such a strong following up here as in England, there are some bargains to be had it would seem.

Staff there couldn't be more helpful (even to a complete novice such as myself), and seem to enjoy a good chat after the sale's finished too.

Their website is here

I've no connection with these folks (despite the room being just down the road from me...whether that's a good thing I'm not sure!), but have to admit that my first impression leads me to think that viewing their sale room will become my regular Tuesday evening entertainment!

They're on North Silver Street, just east of the totally disorganised carpark. If you know the area, you'll probably know the one!

8 sets in one lot, wow! that's ambitious, they may have shifted them for more money if the sets had been listed separately. Your good luck they didn't though.

It's almost worth a trip up the coast to get things there.
