Default Some more French radios

A couple more radios spotted by my brother in France, at Loches market. Can you identify them?

The valve set looks like a generic 4+R L, M, S type from the early '50s.

The portable (transistor?) set has a late '50s look to it and could be quite interesting. I couldn't find it in RM in a quick troll from '57 to '62 of French trannies though.

Hi to all,
Hi Panrock,

Are you just curious or the radios have been purchased and you need ID + tech info?

For the transistor radio, i entered search criteria: France, 1957-1961, 4 button keyboard, 2 knobs, rectangular scale. Search result turned up 46 models but no exact match:

For the valve radio, i can post the photo on the French forum & ask for ID; want me to?
Could be a Cristal Grandin, model 140, produced in 1950, see photo.

Hi Jerome,

Thanks for your help. No, just curious. That photo looks a pretty good match to one of the sets. Since moving to France, my brother has periodically been sending me pictures of 'exotic' French radios he spots at his local market.

Best regards,

Steve
