Dansette Popular.
Hello I was given a dansette poplar which is in a nice condition But it has been fitted with a 4ohm speaker can anyone advise what impedance it should be

II's a much more modern replacement speaker, but 4 ohms will be OK. The original would have been 3 ohms.

Yes that looks quite a good quality speaker !!
Maybe if you can somehow seal the gaps around the edges, it could improve the tonal quality especially in the bass register.

I checked the speaker and it’s for a car stereo |
