In case you do not have enough suggestions already, these magazines from 1963 and 1964 include simple designs for Geiger-Müller ratemeters:

Brilliant! Thats exactly what i'm looking for! Cheers!

I had been trawling through the mags on there but hadnt found those. It seems Ratemeter was the term I needed top be searching for.
