Does anyone have any information on this Interesting Farrex rarity

It almost looks like someone's rehomed an existing chassis in a new cabinet, Ekco style.

Any pics of the back and the chassis? None online as far as I can see: https://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/a...4-ab4c013a0ad3

Maybe this is the converter referred to on the dial? http://www.radiomuseum.co.uk/Farrex.html

If so, maybe the original cabinet was styled similarly.

I have the rather plainer "boxy" cabinet version of this, but still with a curved scale. It is a short wave converter, HT and heater supplies are provided by the receiving set into which it is connected.

But why does this one have a "scale for ultra shortwave attachment" then? I assumed that this meant that the set in question was the radio-proper, and the "attachment" was a converter to which it could be connected. Probably wrong though
