R1155 Multi Section Capacitors
Rod,
if you set still has the original tubular multi-section decoupling capacitors, examinre the wirires leading in through the mounting bush carefully, the early types have rubber wiring which tends to decompose and short out. They can sometimes be repaired by slipping sleeving over the wires. It also possible to rebuild them using modern polypropylene types. Jim. |
