Westminster Radiogram help Needed
Help needed
I have a A263M Westminster radiogram but the cartridge & stylus are missing. Has any one got a spare BSR TC8 cartridge with comparable stereo stylus The deck is a Monarch and would consider a replacement deck. The radio amp section needs attention as it worked for a short time then fades away. Any help would be appreciated. |

Re: Westminster radiogram help needed
The TC8 was a mono cartridge and would damage stereo records, most would also have low or no output by now.
A stereo cartridge wired for mono will be needed. The radio section will need the capacitors replacing, do not use it until this has been done, as damage to the output valve and transformer could occur. Mark |

Re: Westminster radiogram help needed
Thanks Mark, just hard finding spare or suitable pattern part.
Gerry Parents had a Westminster so it is sentimental to him. Probs not the best radiogram in the world. Going to get amp looked at. Cheers |
