Re: Need help identifying this radio.
What is that infuriatingly unclear word bottom right? Miracle? Murphy?
Is there any ID on the back panel? Is it British or home grown or what? Any chance of interior shot? Valve or transistor- looks '70s ish.

Re: Need help identifying this radio.
It has a distinctly Eastern Bloc look to it.

Re: Need help identifying this radio.
Lets hope karanmuse gets back to us with the name on the front.
Could be from anywhere in the world as karanmuse is from India. |

The marking on the front reads "vitavocks"
Here's a pic of the rear. I don't want to risk opening the radio. |

Vitavocks is an Indian manufacturer based in the Uttar Pradesh region. They make TV sets etc etc and say they've been involved in electronics for 50 years.

Re: Need help identifying this radio.
As long as it's unplugged from the supply, just removing the rear panel can't upset anything. A list of the valve types would give an idea of the likely performance of the set and may suggest a generic circuit which would be similar.
Apart from interested speculation, I doubt whether anyone in the UK will know anything specific about this set. You may be lucky if you can ask in an old established radio shop- I believe there's still rather more repair rather than replace activity in India than over here. It's a new name for me and also in Radiomuseum which has a seriously large database of old sets.
