Type 10 dial
I've got a pyramid phone with type 10 dial which is very 'tight' when dialling. It works fine when plugged in ie making a call so I presume the timings etc are correct. It's missing the 'slip' you get from a normal rotary dial of this age whereby if you apply more pressure it gets easier to turn. Nothings been done apart from a light clean/ oil. Any ideas?

Re: Type 10 dial
You have probably done it as good as possible, since it dial OK it may not be any need for speed measuring or tuning, but it is possible to do with a PC and free software.
I tried to make this manual: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...h.dlafkaud40vv Since English not is my "mothers tongue" it may be written in a strange language, but I tried |

Re: Type 10 dial
Check that item 10 (sorry, not sure of its name) in this diagram is not seized; remove it and have a play. The two "cogs" should be locked together in one direction, but should rotate with respect to each other in the other, if that makes sense.
