Mystery Rotary Switch six pole c/o 1950s
Found a few of these, any idea where used? I have never seen the like before.

Re: Mystery Rotary Switch six pole c/o 1950s
For a transmitter, I'd have expected heavier contacts and fewer poles. SRBP/Paxolin insulation also wouldn't have been used unless under severe cost constraints. There doesn't even seem to be a detent mechanism to recognise.
So whatever mechanism drives it is expected to do the indexing. I've never seen anything like it either. David

Re: Mystery Rotary Switch six pole c/o 1950s
Some valved early 1960s multi standard professional monitors used something similar in the Line O/P stage to switch tuning and H.T. etc. A long time since I've dealt with one so I can't identify precisely.
