Hello folks,
I have a Gee RF26 unit where the trimmers are seized up. See picture. Does anyone have a method to free up these trimmers. Thanks in advance. Alf |

Those trimmers are a liability even if not seized!!!
The silver plated ceramic loses its contact with the brass bits causing all sorts of intermittent and frustrating issues. Rather than try to unseize them it would make more sense to me to just replace them with Philips Beehive types. Not original, but far better! '

Yes, I once had one of those style of trimmer go 'open circuit'. Replacing them may be the right way forward.

Thanks for your suggestions guys.
That appears to be a very good solution to the problem. Cheers, Alf |

From the photo, the middle & right-hand ones look like they are locked with yellow paint, so as to prevent adjustment.
I have seen similar trimmers locked with red or white paint before, but not yellow. |
