Thank you for this comment but it is good to know to be supported and helped by people as passionate as us. remains to define the pine of the two latch I compare the holes and my diagram there is discordance and I hesitate on some choice made on the original?

Re: Recreating the Bywood Scrumpi
Indeed just knowing others are reading and checking the work is enough... I will be adding some cajoling in the book to come and join us and perhaps help with the 2 and 3 project...
Phil I will take another look at the IO stuff tomorrow after work as I have sketched out a layout myself but, still not worked out how they are actually supposed to work. Not sure what you mean on the R3 and R4 being reversed? They are definitely 74C04 as not 07 as I previously thought because the low driver sinks the current it lights the LED when it is at Logic 0 which needs an inverter so the LED lights when the bus is at one - I had forgotten about this inversion that would happen. On the board itself my RAM is still "in transit" in China so I threw caution to the wind and ordered two from Little Diode due in about a week. ...then last night as I was lying awake I thought I wonder what happens if I unplug the flying lead from the OE to NRDS on my 9111 - guess what - the chip releases the bus and I can program anything I like... I am now wondering if the 2112 will have a similar issue and maybe the LOAD switch does more than it seems somehow - anyway as soon as the other 2112 chips arrive I can find out and we have one of the last pieces of the puzzle sorted. Re: Recreating the Bywood Scrumpi
The 2112 doesn't have an OE pin so you should be safe! It's a simple chip

Re: Recreating the Bywood Scrumpi
It still irritates me that the pin on the 2111 is actually called 'OD' (Output Disable) when it is used like an active low _OE pin, potentially confusing. Or maybe that's only on the data sheet for one particular manufacturer's version?

Re: Recreating the Bywood Scrumpi
Hello
tim it is not to cajole but to be objective and to put forward Mr John Miller-Kirkpatrick we are only forgers For R3 R4 R5 it is important that your list is identical to the pcb that must be identical to the original (main subject) for the latch I have my idea but more solution exists I would take yours. must have signed the pcb? (TIM/PHIL April 2020) for SLOTHIE the specialist kicad of questions I transferred the pcb to kicad to modify the text (eagle is not flexible) can make name and value disappear so that only the text is retained in the gerber for mm2112/11 I have posted the data OD is a nonexistent disable output on mm2112 for power I found in my pull a 7907. question or found you the mm2112 I received my AM9112 to replace them thanks to tim for it’s mock-up so of the 7404 |

Re: Recreating the Bywood Scrumpi
Working from memory if you edit any label (using the edit option) there is an option to hide it. Alternatively you can create a new footprint in a custom library with the features you want, then in Pcbnew you can use "change footprint" to change to the new footprint. This is useful too if you wish to have custom lengths for resistors etc.

Re: Recreating the Bywood Scrumpi
I notice the label for R4 is in the wrong place but, otherwise it looks perfect.
