Marantz PM200 output problem
I bought this gorgeous Marantz PM200 yesterday together with a tuner (which can only receive classic rock radio but that's ok) and it appeared to be working pretty well, until just now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Kh2pMx6PMc It only occurs on the aux channel, so that's good news, but still, What could it be? Broken contact at the aux input? |

Re: Marantz PM200 output problem
If it's playing OK on the other input sources then you may well be right. Try a switch cleaner on the Selector. As to the Tuner, are you using an antennae?

Re: Marantz PM200 output problem
Are you saying that an the AUX input, you have no sound on the right channel?
What happens if you reverse the left and right phono plugs?

Re: Marantz PM200 output problem
Just to note that inside the amplifier there are no separate component networks for the tuner or aux inputs, they are simply switch routed direct from their input sockets to a buffer amp by the selector switch, if the fault isn't external it might be worth checking the socket connections to the circuit board and/or cleaning the selector switch contacts.
