Default Dansette Gem Transistor Radio Battery/Powerpack Cheap Fix

Does anyone have any ideas for a cheap way of to power this lovely little 1963 9 volt radio.

I did find some companies selling the large 9 volt batteries suitable for this radio but a bit costly!!

Thank you.

Got a couple of Dansette Gem sets in my collection. I've changed the battery clip on them to run on PP3's. Works well.

Thank you all.

No doubt we have all noticed how expensive postage and packaging has become, so yes, I will take your advice and order a few bits from strikalite that may come in handy.
