Default 10k single ended output transformers, Pair wanted

I am looking for a couple of 10k SE output transformers to handle around 3 watts. Not flush enough to pay new prices sadly but if anyone has a couple sitting on a shelf gathering dust...For a winter/lockdown valve amp project I started last year.

Sorry, can't help there. 10k? Non standard pri Z and more expensive to make and get right. There are no 10k OPT's here, only 5k etc - https://primarywindings.com/ but he's the cheapest OPT maker in the UK ( I know of) now VVT have finally closed. He has a long lead time, time to save a few more pennies?

Valves are cheap compared to OPT's, why not parallel the OPT stage and reduce Z pri by half? Better headroom too.

Andy.

Are you sure you need 10k single ended?

If you do, this pair may do for not much money, but you need 16Ω speakers!

A pair of vacuum tube amp 10K: 16Ω 32Ω 600Ω single-ended output transformer suitable for 6P1/6P14/6P15/6P6P

10k to 8 ohms is a ratio of 35:1 so use a 230V to 6v toroidal transformer. Have wondered if the DC current can be cancelled by using another winding as the HT choke? Or saw a slot in the core?

I will be using 2E26's (unconventional I know, but I have plenty of them).

I have used this trick before with surprisingly good results on an experimental EF50 amp. Tried a handful of different 230v/12v mains transformers till I found the nicest sounding one.
