Square Wave Signal Pulse Generator.
Can anyone tell me what it is for? It has an aux socket, and one at 50 ohm with double pulse and adjustable delay: Can it be used on a hf radio to inject the square wave signal into the antenna / radio socket to check the stage before and after the discriminator?

Re: square wawe_signal pulse generator
There are many, many different sorts of pulse generators, from little signal injectors that go in your pocket, to general purpose lab equipment, to very specialised ones making radar or TV waveforms.
Double pulse and adjustable delay sounds like general electronics lab equipment and not normally needed for testing receivers A photo would help narrow the range. David

I understand, David and which generator should I use for the HF receiver test? would a generator with a built-in oscillation circuit with frequency from 20hz to 50kHz be good?
