Default DONG KWANG Freq. Counter FC-2200H

Does anyone know anything about this 5.5" x 1" x 3.5" diddy wee Freq. Counter please ?
I've just been given it. Supposed to have a range of 2KHz to 220MHz. It needs +12V un Regulated and +5V Reg, & Gnd, seemingly.

Regards, David

Well - this wee counter has found a permanent & useful home on my bench. Apart from the on/off push button on the left, it has another three function push buttons on the right :- "HF -455KHz", "HF", & VHF.
Pressing the -455 button obviously being used when determining an LO frequency. (Providing, of course, that a commonly used IF of 455KHz is being used in a particular set under test).
So its now connected permanently to the o/p of my AVO AWO which I generally use for basic radio work. Its amazingly jolly stable frequency-wise for such an old item.
Pictures show the AWO putting out 456KHz, then the diff. of 10 KHz being shown when the button is pressed. Supply for the Dong Kwang is taken from the nearby 12/24V DC workshop supply(rigged as a boats supply with up to 50A/24V from a Sailor 1000 Series PSU/ Battery Supply).

Regards, David

One of those (oh too rare these days) simple, pretty, does what it says on the tin bits of test gear. Love it!
