Superia Radiogram
Hello I’m looking for circuit diagram or help with this radiogram.
Model, Superia made by Europhone. It’s made in Italy. It has not been used for years, I’ve powered up from a variac, but the dropper resistor is overheating badly. It’s has a modification made, looks many years ago. The rectifier valve is missing and a diode modification has been done. A circuit diagram is needed. I am a Tv engineer since 1982, I’m ok with valves, more tv than radio, my old boss always got them jobs. But nowadays one has to diversify, going back in time. Thanks all Paul |

Re: Superia Radiogram
Are you sure it's designed for 240V mains?
Overheating droppers normally mean a short circuit, as they just supply the valve heater chain. |

Re: Superia Radiogram
RadioMuseum have a circuit for a Superia radio, if it’s the same chassis inside your radiogram it may help.

Re: Superia Radiogram
It could be dust on the dropper.
