I remember a "Rock" plug like that, in a pale shade of grey, at my parents' house. I think it was a type where connections were made by wrapping the wire around a threaded stud, then screwing a capnut down onto it. A bit like a poor person's version of an MK plug.
I can't even remember what it was attached to, they got rid of it so long ago .....

Old Mains 3 pin Plug
Fitted a new plug to one of my tape recorders. The old removed plug has those Bakelite sprung loaded insulated sleeves at the bottom of the Live & Neutral pins.
It has been a long time since I have seen one of those. David |
