Default Smithscope - a hardware Smith chart

Came across this today https://portia.astrophysik.uni-kiel....mithScope.html, a Smith chart that uses LED's to show the results of various tests.

Unfortunately no build/schematic information, but a nifty device nonetheless.

Have you come across the Rohde und Schwarz 'Diagraph'?

Reflection coefficient resolved into I and Q components then displayed on a CRT.
