Default Halfords cheap cells

Halfords are doing 12AA and 12AAA cells in a pack for a fiver, I went in to buy two PP9s (a fiver each) for my Hacker, 24 AAs fit my adaptor batteries https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...7&postcount=13 and have the same overall capacity with 24 'free' AAAs to boot.
