Minimod PCBs, new batch of boards on order - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Following Ian's article on the Minimod pantry transmitter in the Winter edition of the BVWS Bulletin I have ordered another 30 PCBs and l am offering them for sale.

These are the Mk2 boards (with the error corrected)

The boards will cost £2.50 each and postage will be £1.95 first class for 1 or 2 boards.
In other words 1 board total cost £4.45, 2 boards £6.95

The boards cost me £1.50 from JLCPCB which includes shipping and taxes. I have added £1 per board as requested by Ian to go to his favourite charity.

Please PM me to request boards, I will request payment when the boards arrive in a couple of weeks.

I have now received requests for 15 boards, that's half spoken for already!
I apologise for not relying individually but I have received the PMs and will send a request for payment when the boards arrive.

WOW, I certainly did not anticipate that demand. (including PMs)
I am now oversubscribed and will immediately order another batch.
The last two requests will be on the new batch, should only add another few days delay.

Without wanting to divert Peter's thread, could you tell us Ian whether the BVWS article contains additional useful info to what has already appeared on the forum?

It's the MK2. No power increase, but I've almost eliminated the slight FMing the MK1 had. There are some other minor changes that are described in the article.

This thread post 94 onwards describes most of the differences I think.

The first batch of PCB's have arrived.
I will send out requests for payment over the next couple of days.
The second batch have been made and shipped so should not be too long.

I seem to recall from previous mini-mods that there were inductors and possibly even kits available I cannot remember the eBay sellers details.

Could you post a link please if you have details?
