Default Nora K69

Hi, I have just obtained one of these impressive 6 valve, 3 waveband battery sets from 1938 with the following valve line up: KK2, KF4, KB2, KF4, KC3 & KDD1.

I wondered if anyone else has worked on one of these before as I have never seen one until now! It was manufactured in Berlin in 1938.

Regards
Trevor.

I have just found a link to this set on the Radiomuseum website.

I never knew that 2v side contact valves existed. I have certainly never come across a set that has them. Were they only used in German sets?
That must be a very rare set you have there Trevor. Is it working?

John.
