Re: The Grundig Book
If it's the book I have, it's a Focal Press book (better known for camera books of course) which gives ideas on how to use Grundig (reel to reel) tape recorders, describes many of the accessories, and (most usefully, I think) has a couple of pages on each model describing the controls and connectors. The author was Fredrick Purves.
It's in the same series (and same author) as 'The Philips Tape Recorder Book'. While I find that one very useful, I don't like the Grundig Book as much. That may just be my bias towards Philips machines though. |

Re: The Grundig Book
The Grundig book was published for a number of years so best to obtain the latest version you can so that it covers the greatest number of models. I think circa 1970 was the last one. They turn up quite often so don’t pay much for one!

Re: The Grundig Book
Thank you Peter, I will now look out for a circa 1970 one.

Re: The Grundig Book
Have now seen quite a few on eBay but all quite early ones, some are expensive.
