Re: A safe place for your valuable vintage collection
Interesting, Jeffrey. I played the 'Discovery' video and found the level of quality of manufacture surprisingly high. I'd need a rather large secret room, though! An understairs hidden passage wouldn't fill the bill. I guess if you collect fine works of art and want to store them in relative security when away from home, the hidden room idea is appealing. Wonder what the cost is...

I intended this as a humorous contribution but I think they said their products start at $6500.

I did pick up on your amusement in the item - but as you say, that kind of expenditure is serious. Perhaps when I finally come into money... getting rather late in the day for that event, however!

For those of us with a lot to store :

Re: A safe place for your valuable vintage collection
Perhaps all members with "other halves" should club together and buy the place and leave "them" behind

Re: A safe place for your valuable vintage collection
The Scottish property looks wonderful, at a reasonable price too. I'm about to retire, and if I weren't allergic to midges and rain, I'd take my "other half" and collection there with little hesitation!
