Default Rescue tape

This looks like a more advanced version of self-amalgamating tape. Has anyone found it useful for either vintage or modern applications?

This looks like good stuff Jeffrey, I do find that self-amalgamating tape can take a few minutes to "bind", maybe this is better.

I use self amalgamating tape to bind the ends of fabric-covered mains leads so they don't fray.

I have also used it to stop cloth covered cable from fraying.

I use this stuff at work, I always keep a role in the van for repairing damaged insulation on TRS and Soccapex cables when out on an event. very good stuff and very strong but not cheep.

Make sure you don't put the reel on it's side - otherwise it'll glue itself to the bench.
