Default Oakham Treasures Museum 1

On Sunday I visited this museum briefly (as part of another event) http://www.oakhamtreasures.co.uk and saw several things of interest to us, mainly stacked on the floor:

Mostly stuff from my era, except that weird looking record player thing - disc cutter? The Nokia phone is the one I am at present using. The V4 was the first set I ever worked on in employment, they were still current then.

In the mid-1970s I worked for an engineering firm that had one of those Emidicta machines. It was an early dictating machine. Up the corner of an office, it looked to have been long out of use by then. (The place was a museum in itself - I think that the newest piece of kit was large upright drill that dated from the 1940s. Some of the other equipment was ornate and probably Victorian.)
