Default The real BBC

One of my colleagues gave me some information and an excellent picture, Thanks Harry

Douglas Birkenshaw on the right is his wife's grandfather

The picture is the retirement of Tony Bridgewater.

The Chap on the left is Desmond Campbell.

Apparently Harold McMillan referred to them as the "BBC"

Cheers

There's a reference to that in Donald F McLean's book "Restoring Baird's Image"
