Hi I have a GPO 746 Telephone and the bell doesn't sound right
Does anyone know how to re align the bells?

First, slacken off the screws holding the gongs if necessary.
Second (or first if above not needed), rotate each gong until the clapper just hits it but doesn't remain in contact after hitting.
Finally, (re-)tighten the screws.

The reason this works is because the gongs are mounted slightly off-centre.
