Default Marconi 995A/5 Sig Gen Modulation Interference

Just wondering - are there any 995A/5 buffs out there who have experienced AM modulation remaining when FM is selected on S1. I.e. 50% AM modulation (meter fsd) set, but approx. 25% remains when set to Int. FM when scoping 20MHz 100mV o/p profile. Note, modulation meter(Racal Dana 9009A) had given correct AM & FM settings of 50% AM, & 5Kc/s & 15 Kc/s Dev.

Regards, David
