"S66E" transistor radio kit: 4 for £11.60 (free postage)
The instructions are only in Chinese, which just added to the entertainment.
Do you have a link to that?

I've tried just searching for S66E but can't tell from the Chinglish translation how many I'd be getting!

A pack of 4 for that price would be great for the kids

Well, that was two years ago, when the dollar (which all these prices are quoted in) was about 1.67 to the pound as against the 1.45 it is now. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-...87566966.html? is an offer of four for $18 with free postage, but $18 is about £12,50 plus any foreign currency surcharges or exchange rate penalty.

I would have bought more from the likes of Aliexpress or Bangood, but it is the postage charge that is the problem. The sites are an umbrella on which many advertise their wares, so there isn't the opportunity to combine postage if shipping 4 sets if from different suppliers. There are interesting kits, the postage charge makes me think twice.
The little D08 AM TRF wound up costing me between 14 and 15 pounds inc postage.

Thanks. Yes I see they have gone up a bit.

Well, I've just looked at Andy's link (radioman) and the postage was £2.60 so with the radio that's £6.33. Not too bad. I have two grandsons that I might try these on when they're a bit older.
