Kenwood R-1000 tuning knob
hi folks
as in the title, does anyone know how it comes off on an R-1000? I tried pulling it but it doesn't seem to want to move and I don't want to break it. many thanks |

This is a push-fit, definitely.
I have three, all the same. Regards Pete |

Re: Kenwood R-1000 tuning knob
The picture clearly shows the grub screws on the other knobs, but none for the main tuning knob. So it looks like a push fit.
A lot of Japanese transceivers have screws hidden under the knobbly rubber 'tyre' of tuning knobs. If it's got a rubber ring around it, try to lift it and roll it off. David David
