Default P600A diode question

I have a couple of these diodes and was wondering if they could be used as a general purpose rectifier diode like 1N4007 ? They are much larger but seem to have a bit more forward voltage drop compared to 1N4001; ie 1.3 V versus 1.0 V.

P600A- no. It's a 50V rated diode.

Other diodes in the series, yes. The P600M is 1000V rated and the P600K, 800V.
