Receiver used in 'The Italian Job'?
Finally decided to ask this, as it's puzzled me for a long time.
The Italian Job is a particular favorite film of mine, and I'd like to know what make and model the radio is that is used to listen in to the Italian police in the scenes just prior to the 'job'? Its quite prominent due to its long antenna, which one of the characters has to duck down to get through the doorways!

Re: Receiver used in 'The Italian Job'?
It is quite likely that the antenna and radio used have no connection with any radio system used by the Italian police at the time. Film makers usually go for a certain 'look' for technology, not a relevant technlogy. I doubt if the camera jammers used in the film were real devices!

Re: Receiver used in 'The Italian Job'?
That is indeed likely the case Dave, I'm only interested in what make and model was used to 'depict' that activity in the film! I'm pretty sure whatever set it was wasn't even turned on at the time, the Italian RT traffic being dubbed in.
