TV Parts ID?
I have been given some surplus items but would appreciate confirmation.
It is possible these are Philips from a mono valve chassis ; 1. Line output transformer with fibre glass top panel with connections to line o/p and boost diode 2. 110 degree scan coils Thanks for looking

Re: TV Parts ID
Hi The LOPT is from the Pye Hybrid colour chassis PCB timebase panel CT203 /205 Etc The scancoils are GEC mono. Probably the Dual standard chassis 2000 or 1000 maybe the single standard "fineline" May fit all. They are handy spares as often the plastic crumbles on these.

Re: TV Parts ID
Many thanks, I wasn't sure but I will check the manual, obviously to be used with a
tripler and focus control. I have a spare GEC d/s chassis so I might make a set !

Re: TV Parts ID?
Yes, coils are GEC I recognise that connector. But standard Plessey assembly anyhow I think?

Re: TV Parts ID?
Hello again.
As Rich mentions, the LOPT is from a Pye hybrid colour set with the PCB line timebase/power supply. It would be the 697 chassis. They were a fairly reliable transformer. I never had to replace that many. The scan coils are possibly from a Philips mono TV. Philips liked to use yellow sleeving in their sets. I think its connector is made by Pressac and was commonly used in Philips sets in the mid 1960s to early 1970s. Regards, Symon |

Re: TV Parts ID?
They used a similar connector on the Style 70 Philips if I remember.
The earlier GEC coils had an embedded ntc thermistor in the field coils to keep the height constant during warm up. Until it disintegrated that is. I had to refresh my knowledge on 697 chassis, anyway it's good to have a spare.
