High Voltage Diodes?
Hi, while rummaging in the fogotten corners of my workshop I came accross these old diodes. I seem to remember seeing something similar in the high voltage section of an old 'scope. The diodes are numbered CV7470 and are 1 inch long with a glazed ceramic body. Does any-one have a list of CV equivalents? I would have thought that diodes of this obvious vintage would have multiple junctions to get any respectable PIV but the forward voltage drop is only 2.6v at 2ma which seems to rule this out, any ideas. If they are any use to anyone for the cost of postage, let me know,
Regards, John. Last edited by govjohn; 26th Mar 2020 at 10:25 pm. Reason: Spelling |
