Revised drawing of the connections so far as I can make out.

I'm wondering if the 110/220 volt selection is done by a fuse in a screw in holder or just by a link that screws in...or something else, it's hard to tell for sure from the photo, a clearer close up photo of that area might give a clue.

As has been said, don't attempt to power up until the receiver and battery eliminator have been serviced.

Lawrence.

The Grundig 97BE1 uses the same power switching arrangement for the battery eliminator:

Looking at the photo, bearing in mind we can't see inside, I am wondering if the mains supply should be on the small top and bottom "connectors", or are they rivets? if that were the case, a plug would go into either the 110 or 220v socket to select internal configuration.
But the weakness of my suggestion is the closeness of metal to the upper connector/rivet.Or has the case been forced downwards?
I may just be blathering!
Les.

I think they are just rivets. If you magnify the photo as much as possible there seems to be nothing "inside" them unlike the output connectors on the other side. There does seem to be some sort of square thing inside the voltage holes though. That case needs to come off!!
