Default Radiospares Power Sections

Hello All

Could anyone kindly provide a scan of the page(s) in an old Radiospares catalogue showing their complete range of power sections, as shown in the attached photo.

For scale, each section is 1-inch in diameter.

best regards ... Stef

Here is a scan of a Radiospares catalogue page showing the dropper sections available in July/Sept 1960.

There are no more on my copy of the catalogue. The following page 19 just has "Replacement Droppers" listed - i.e. Radiospares versions of mains droppers for radios with type numbers ranging from R.1 to R.20.

I don't know whether the 2k dropper sections you have were deleted before 1960 or added after 1960. Maybe other Forum members could have a look if they have different dated catalogues.

The 2k 0.07A example I have is the 10W size and packaged in a RS Components box, so is a later product compared to the items listed in my Radiospares catalogue extract.

Thanks Ron ref the 2k section.

I'll check around if anyone is selling old RS catalogues, they are very useful. Could be one or two on eBay.

Could you please upload a higher def version of your scan or send to be via PM?

Best rgds. Stef.

Useful but not terribly reliable, in my experience.

Many thanks Ron for sending the pdf of the page.

Look at the 3-way and 2-way linecord offered for sale. What a shame you can't get reels of it today. I guess Health and Safety rules these days wold prevent any resurrection of these linecords.

best regards ... Stef

Then Dec 1974 - Mar 1975 RS catalogue lists the same values, and provides the same technical information, (other than the weights, not given) as #10. The prices were 21pence for all values.
