Question R 1155 receiver below parr

I am looking for someone to look at getting the sparkle back into my R1155. Hopefully someone in West Sussex can help out

It would be informative to know how much sparkle your receiver has left. If you have or could borrow a RF signal generator with a calibrated RF output level, you will find that a R1155 in good condition will easily receive a 10 microvolt AM modulated signal. A one microvolt signal level too, though the background noise will be very apparent.
