Question 'Practical Wireless' GDO design, circa 1967/9

I distinctly recall 'Practical Wireless' published a design for a grid dip oscillator during 1967 - 1969. IIRC, it used a twin-gang capacitor (probably a Colpitts osc.) and probably one triode valve. Sorry that I can't narrow down that date range and that I can't provide any more details: it was a long time ago.

Can anyone identify the particular month - or even publish the particular design - for me, please?

Thanks,
Al. / May 12th. //

Was it this one from July 1966?

I'm sure there were others during the period 66 to 69 but this was the first one that came to mind.

Thumbs up Re: 'Practical Wireless' GDO design, circa 1967/9

Ah, yes - thank you Keith. That's the one: it was a very long time ago. A far back as 1966 eh? My goodness!
The reason for my enquiry is simply that I built this many years ago and I recall that it worked very well. Many years have passed since, and although I realise the usefulness of it, the one I built cannot be found. So . . . time to build another!

How about this one? Based on a tuning indicator - possibly one can use one of the later types?
