Question "Tester RP 3045"

I recently acquired a box of vintage radio bits at a car boot. Amongst the items was found a Bakelite label with the legend "TESTER RP 3045 DGM.RPW 3045D"; obviously ex-military / M.o.D. The label is about 1½" x ½", for securing to a front panel (?) with csk. 6BA screws (this bit is an inspired guess!).

Any ideas, anyone, as to what this item is / was . . . . . .

Ah! Thank you, Graham.

Amongst the rest of the bits was a peak programme meter (BBC style), an AC3/SP3, AC/VP1 and a D41 (diode) valve, an assortment of Rs and Cs (classic 1950's vintage), various chokes, LF and HF and other sundry bits; no mains transformer; no variable tuning condenser, no chassis metalwork.

It seems likely all these bits came from the one same stripped item. I suspect a test box for some sort of fixed channel HF communications circuit that used AM, e.g. a modulation level meter, portable, battery operated?

Just curious; I have no real 'need to know'. Any more ideas, chaps?
