Default ex BBC CMCR9 on the move again

Dear Friends of North 3

The veteran former 1969 BBC OB scanner North3 / CMCR9 will be on display once again at the Astle Park Steam Rally near Chelford, Cheshire next Saturday and Sunday 13th/14th August. The owner, Steve Harris and retired BBC engineer Steve Jones will be there to demonstrate all the improvements which they have made in the restoration since last year. Details of the event can be found on http://www.number1events.com . If you do turn up there, please be sure to sign the visitor's book located in the production gallery.

My apologies if you receive this message more than once. It means you are on more than one list ! Please let me know if you wish to be deleted from this list.

kind regards

I would love to see CMCR9 but unfortunately can't make it. I was in the OB unit of BBC Planning & Installation Dept. in 1969 and had a bit to do with the vehicles which were being produced at the time. Was CMCR9 built by Smiths or Dells?
